The winter doldrums
Here we are doing our first "blog" as we come to the end of February. This is the winter doldrums time of year; the woodpile is getting smaller, we still have the snowshovels and ice melter out, but the spring garden and flower seeds are ready to display. February is always a good month to put behind us and March opens the door to spring. We've always had a theory that on the first of March people turn over their calendar and say, "Ohmygosh it's March! I've got to spade the garden. I've got to fix the fence. I've got to paint the garage." Business starts to pick up and we love all the activity. Looking forward to spring.
